We are on a mission to Advance Christ's Kingdom
The Christian Education and Church Relations Committee is planning an outreach event for your boys and young men in 2020. It's going to be big and will run in four locations in NI. There will be two tailored events in each of the locations on each of the dates - an afternoon event for Anchors and Juniors and an early evening event for Company & Seniors.
Crown Jesus Ministries is a key partner with BB in this and they will be sharing their energy, creativity, enthusiasm and passion for the gospel with young people at the events. It won't be boring!
Please join with us in praying for the plans for this major initiative; start praying now for the young people you will be bringing along - that God would transform their lives and be their Saviour.
Chaplains' Gatherings ... We are running several Chaplains' Gatherings to share the vision of Mission 2020 and how Chaplains can get their BB Company and Church involved. There will also be an opportunity to meet Senior Staff from NIHQ and have conversations about BB to support Chaplains and their role in the BB Company. Each of the Gatherings will commence at 10am with refreshments on arrival, finishing at 12noon. If you have additional Church staff, such as Youth & Childrens' Workers, Family Workers etc, they would be welcome to attend too. Please go to eventbrite to book by clicking on the town name below in bold text.

The Boys' Brigade Northern Ireland District Prayer Points
In preparation for our Year of Mission 2020 here are some prayer guidelines and Bible references to help you pray intentionally now for the young people in your care in BB. What can you ASK Jesus for that will Advance Christ's Kingdom?
Ask God to open their spiritual eyes (2 Cor. 4:4).
Ask God to give them ears to hear (Matt. 13:15)
Ask God to give them faith to believe (Acts 20:21)
Ask God to give them the will to respond (Rom. 10:9).
Ask God to send people into their lives to witness to them (Matt. 9:38).
Ask God for ways to build caring relationships (I Cor. 9:22).
Ask God for opportunities to witness (Col. 4:3)
Ask God for boldness to witness (Acts 4:29).
Ask God for an opportunity to invite them (Luke 14:23).
Ask God to set them free from spiritual captivity (2 Tim. 2:25-26).
