Cashback for Communities

CashBack

UPDATE - May 2013

We are delighted to announce that the Scottish Government have confirmed that the Small Grants Scheme will continue for a further three years. We are now accepting applications for the next round which will close on the 1st June 2013. Please use the form below and return to Scottish HQ by the due date.

Cashback for Communities is a Scottish Government initiative that uses funds recovered from criminal activity to support positive activities for young people.

The Cashback for Communities Small Grants Scheme was established to support local volunteer led groups or units, who may not previously have had access to external funding, to enhance their programmes for young people and get positive projects off the ground. The scheme is aimed at units and youth groups that predominantly work with young people aged between 10 and 19 years.

Two grant types are available £1000 grants to start up a new Section/Company. Existing Companies can apply for up to £2000 to help develop their programme. Companies who applied in year one can apply again, however, priority will usually be given to new applicants.

The application is fairly simple to complete but you will need to provide a copy of your latest accounts.
