This event was run in partnership with Edinburgh Presbytery for Anchor Boys and Junior Section and Sunday School Children 5 - 12 years of age at our newly refurbished Battalion Headquarters and Lethem Park on Saturday 6 May 2006 from 11am to 3pm. 100 children took part in this event, which was formally opened by Mark Lazarowicz MP for Edinburgh North and Leith. Ms Anne Mulligan, Moderator for the Presbytery of Edinburgh blessed the event and Mr James C Ralston, Battalion President all cut the ribbon for the event to commence.

On the Sports side of things there was 7 a-side football, athletics, rounders, kwik cricket and giant games. For the less sporty there were storytelling, circus skills and juggling and crafts workshops.

This we hope will be the first of many joint events with churches within the Battalion area.
