Eastwood District of Glasgow Battalion

Our District Junior Section Sports were held in the grounds of Mearnskirk Church. The Boys thoroughly enjoyed a morning of fun events, including egg-and-spoon, sack, and relay races. Here we see the winning team from the 145th (Eastwood Parish Church).

24 of our seniors, representing 7 of our Companies, enjoyed their Annual Dinner in the Bar Milano, Giffnock. Here we see some of them enjoying the splendid food!

6 lads from Eastwood District - 1 each from the 9th (Pollokshaws) and 201st (Queen's Park), plus 2 each from the 45th (South Shawlands) and 254th (Giffnock South) were amongst the 61 Seniors presented with their Queen's Badge Certificates by the Brigade President, the Very Rev Prof Alan Main, in the inspiring surroundings of Glasgow City Chambers. Here we see our latest Queen's Men along with their Company Captains.
