Pictured in the grounds of Wishaw's Thornlie Church, after Wishaw and District Battalion's Presentation Ceremony, are Boys of the 1st Netherton Company, proud winners of the Battalion's Annual Flag Championship Competition. This is the first time the Company has managed to land the Battalion's Top Trophy. In order to win the Championship the Netherton lads had to win a large number of other Battalion Competitions and the trophies for these are also in the picture.
